FELDA Housing Project |
The development component comprises of single-storey bungalow, business premises, Medium-sized Industrial Centre, Kolej KINI, recreational centre and other facilities for community activities. Overall progress of the project is Feldajaya Timur
(65 percent), Feldajaya Utara and Selatan (32 percent). The three projects are scheduled to be fully completed in August 2005.

Background
In early 2002 FELDA Planned to establish the New Growth Centre known as the Feldajaya Project in the FELDA schemes. FELDA had identified the potential of FELDA areas for the development of the New Growth Centres covering areas in the North East and West of Peninsular Malaysia. |
Development Objectives

To establish the New Growth Centre in the FELDA schemes. |

Provide opportunities to the settlers family participate actively in the economic development. |
|
Provide modern and complete infrastructure facilities. |
|
Optimun utilization of land to compliment the existing development by the state and Federal Government. |
|
To expand the potential of FELDA schemes developed as complexes to become New Growth Centres. |
|
To reduce urban migration of the second generation and inturn encourage them to contribute towards the schemes development. |
